Planemakers Airbus in London has unveiled plans for a transparent or see-though plane which will be flying around in 2050. The futuristic concept of air travel will give passengers an amazing panoramic view while in the sky. The fuselage will be replaced by a bone-like structure the efficiency of bird bone which is definitely not for nervous flyers and those who seek for privacy. According to the executive vice-president Charles Champion, the company gets the idea from passengers’ need of “a seamless travel experience”. He also states there will be no first class or business class; there will have areas for relaxation in the front, work in the back and full-stocked bar in the middle.
The transparent concept cabin offers a great panoramic view for passengers.
The temperature inside aircraft can be controlled by cabin wall membrane and turns out to be transparent providing views throughout the day and night.
Passengers will be able to relax in the front, enjoy a bar and even play virtual golf in the interaction zone on the plane
The operation of pop-up gaming displays and in-flight entertainment are powered by the heat of passengers’ bodies.
